Using angel cards to receive guidance and inspiration is so much fun!
Angel Cards come out of the Tarot tradition. They are cards that can be used by ANYONE to help you tune into divine guidance and your higher self.
I have over a dozen decks from various authors that I like to *play* with, depending on what I'm feeling or are drawn to on any given day. Every deck is different, some being more traditional tarot decks, and others being more modern with various quotes, inspiration and almost always with beautiful artwork.
I find angel cards can be a great way to get conversations started and really open up the heart in a healing session. When I use them during healing sessions to receive guidance, I always connect to Spirit/Source/The Universe and my heart first, and I walk clients through a prayer or ritual to clear our space and energy before we get started. Cards can be an incredible tool but its important to set the space and our intentions that we only seek loving guidance for our highest and best good.
Often my intuition will lead me to channel messages from clients' guides during readings as well. The loving presence of these guides helps us to surface what is ready to be cleared and healed in the energy work and/or Reiki that usually follows a reading. It may feel a little funny at first to those not used to communicating with angels and guides, but these loving energies ADORE us and want nothing more than to light our way. Ultimately I hope to help clients develop a stronger connection to their guides and learn how to communicate and maintain a wonderful, conscious relationship with them.
